Wafer Butterfly Valve

(DN: 50 – 600mm, PN: 10 – 16bar)

This type of on-off valves known as flangeless butterfly valves are used to install between a pair of flanges or by the other words in-line installation. The lug-type wafer butterfly valves are used to install at the end of pipeline. These valves have the following advantages and benefits:

• Low pressure drop.
• Centric disk, mounted in three maintenance free-bearing bushes.
• Replaceable rubber sleeve.
• Appropriate sealing at both sides.
• Considering their low price, these valves could be used instead of gate valves atthe engine rooms.
• Easy installation due to low weight.
• Appropriate sealing around the shaft in a way that the fluid inside the valve has no contact with the shaft and its bushing and as a result there will be no sealing problems.
• Capability of installation at any required position (vertical, horizontal and inclined)
• Capable of installing electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator
• Final test according to DIN EN12266 or ISO 5208
• Face to face dimension according to DIN EN 558-1, Series20) or ISO 5752
• Designed to accommodate with flanges according to DIN EN 1092-2 (DIN2501) similar with ISO 7005-2.
• Multi turn actuator attachment according to ISO 5210
• Part turn actuator attachment according to ISO 5211
• Gearbox sealing in a way that no fluid can penetrate it even if the gearbox is fully submerged.
• All bolts and nuts in contact with fluid are made of stainless steel
• Coating paint: epoxy powder paint with electrostatic process
